For best dressed coming in at NUMBER 5: is Rhea Durham, in Naeem Khan with a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch. Very different from anything else on the red carpet. Simple but girlie.

Number 4: Cate Blanchett, in Givenchy Haute Couture, with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels. First dress that made my jaw drop. Stunning

Number 3: Marisa Tomei, in vintage Charles James from Lily et Cie couture, with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a Kotur clutch. I cannot get over how beautiful this dress is. She didn’t even have a stylist, she bought the dress years ago and just decided it was the right time to break it out.

Number 2 Mila Kunis, in Elie Saab Couture, with Neil Lane jewels. I’ve never seen her look so beautiful and feminine. That dress fit her perfectly.

Number 1… I’m a sucker for Valentino. Florence Welch, in Valentino Haute Couture.

And the WORST…

Number 5: Melissa Leo, in Marc Bouwer, with Jay Carlile for Forevermark jewels. So busy and unflattering.

Number 4: Kathryn Bigelow, in Yves Saint Laurent. Just not dainty or elegant enough for the Academy Awards…

Number 3: Penelope Cruz, in L’Wren Scott. It’s 8th grade prom tacky.

Number 2: Rachel Roy, in her own design? Who does that? Bad taste.

Number 1: Jacki Weaver, in Collette Dinnigan. Ouch. Just frumpy.
